If you haven't received an invitation yet, expect a letter in the mail late January from the Office of the Deans of Students. It will be sent to the address listed on URSA.
However, if you still haven't received a letter (and believe that you are eligible) or need another copy, feel free to drop by the Office of the Dean of Students (1206 Murphy Hall) to get one. |

To qualify for membership in either Alpha Lambda Delta and Phi Eta Sigma, students must attain:
12 or more UCLA graded units with a grade point average of 3.5 or higher in the first quarter of their first year
- or -
a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher at the end of their first year.
Once initiated into ALD and PES, and after paying a one-time membership fee, a student is not required to maintain the initiation grade point average. An induction ceremony is held in the spring quarter. Students qualifying based on their entire year grade point average will not be initiated until the following spring quarter. |
