Thoughts on ALD&PES:
I really enjoyed making the Thanksgiving Day cards for the elderly,
because it is a fun project that really brightens the days of others. From my past experiences with volunteering at senior centers, they truly appreciate receiving small items (like cards), just to know that they are in someone's thoughts. Hopefully, they experienced as much joy reading the cards, as I did making them. I believe ALD|PES provides great opportunities for Bruins to become actively involved in their community.
Meg went above and beyond the minimum of making 2 Thanksgiving cards
for the elderly residents of Westwood Horizons. She hand-made 6
personal cards with heartwarming messages of support and thought for
the elderly. We are proud to see such a caring individual as an ALD &
PES member!
